Scope of works
- Clearance of collapsed embankments along the eastern corridor
- Reconstruction of damaged sub-base and drainage structures
- Re-grading and compaction of affected carriageway sections
- Reinstatement of safety barriers and road markings
Outcome
The corridor was returned to service for heavy vehicle traffic, restoring the primary supply route between the eastern municipalities and the capital.
